Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your LMS Companion account, operated by GKTech Solutions LLC, and all health data associated with it. You can request deletion at any time — no reason required.

How to request deletion

Option 1: In the app

  1. Open LMS Companion
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Tap "Erase & start over" (deletes everything, then lets you set up fresh)
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Deletes your account and data right away. Encrypted backups clear within 30 days, after which your data is gone from all systems.

Option 2: By email

  1. Send an email to [email protected] from the email address associated with your account.
  2. Subject line: "Account deletion request"

We confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

The following data is permanently removed:

  • Your account (email, authentication credentials)
  • All symptom entries and severity values
  • All personal notes (private and team-shared)
  • Visit cycles, dates, and questions
  • Symptom configurations, tracking sets, and preferences
  • Reminders and notification settings
  • AI observation history (if enabled)
  • Flag events and streak data
  • Profile preferences (avatar, pronoun, locale)

We do not retain any health data after deletion. There is no recovery option once deletion is complete.

What may be retained, and why

  • Encrypted backups: may temporarily contain deleted data until the next backup rotation (within 30 days). After rotation, your data is gone from all systems.
  • Anonymized aggregate metrics: usage counts stripped of all identifiers (e.g., "X users logged entries this week") may persist. These cannot be linked back to your account.

We never retain identifiable health data for marketing, training, re-targeting, or any purpose other than providing the Service while your account is active.

Partial deletion

If you want to remove specific data without deleting your entire account, you can do so directly in the app:

  • Delete individual daily entries
  • Delete specific notes
  • Remove symptoms from your tracking set
  • Delete visit records
  • Disable and clear AI observation history
